The band's second studio album, Out West, was released in May 2022. This album intentionally brings a bit more of an angry tone at times, and much of the writing was heavily influenced by the lack of accountability for people in power and the rising political tensions and social unrest of 2020 and 2021. While not totally an angry second child, the album also contains a love song and a country ballad featuring Josh Bearman (The Hot Seats) on mandolin, and a guitar heavy folk-inspired song about small town life written by Rob Henley to round out its personality. Similar to Goat Tracks, Out West is a patchwork of band input and influence over the original song concepts written by Jimmy Shannon and Rob Henley.
